The Sucky Side!

Self,

I know that everything of everyday can't be all peachie keen or rosie fresh. However at the same time, knowing that doesn't mean that when the crap piles up in front of you that you are just thankful for the manure...it's still shit in your face! And that sucks!

A brief crap list lately,

my grandfather has been in and out of the hospital, his doctors don't know what's wrong. However, a nurse in the family suspect from the symptoms described that it's possible that it might be bone cancer. (yes, my grandfather is 86 years old been married for over 67 years, has 4 children, 6 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandkids...and I would say have had a long life full of happy memories. I know he won't be here forever, but this isn't the way anyone would want to see his life end.)

A family member has had a miscarriage and I don't think she even fully knew she was pregnant at the time....or atleast it wasn't confirmed.

A friend's father also has been in and out of the hospital. the father had a bout with prostate cancer it was in remission, but it seems it's back stronger than before. according to my friend, the doctors don't know if the father will make it through the end of the year.

Another friend went to his country of birth to visit his father after learning that the father had a stroke. Only for the father to pass when my friend started preparing to return to the States.

I know family members are struggling financially, some unemployed

I've recently learned that a friend was stopped by the police which resulted in a DUI. (I know many will say that the DUI is a result of my friend's action by choosing to get in the car. That may be true but there is still a great deal of angusih and regret that goes along with that knowledge.)

I know that in a way most of these things are not my problem. But it stillthings that are unpleasant to hear and know about. However these are all people I care about so it saddens me to know that they are hurting. It's even more frustrating to know that I don't know what I can do to help any of them.

Sincerely,
a slightly weaker Pharaoh

Something New

Self,

I know I mentioned that I have been asked to be a contributing writer on another blog. Well I finally took the plunge and wrote a post. Check it out - M.A.L.E. It was mostly an introduction...and some of the Loyal Subjects of the Realm may recognize part of the contents in the post from my first entry here, but it was the inspiration I needed. I got a couple good responses in the comment section....lol go check it out and leave more!

Sincerely,
Pharaoh

PS. Now I have to figure out how to keep it up......Lawd have mercy.

What's good for the goose.......

Self,

I've mentioned that a couple weeks ago I had a date and a "go-see." Things with the "go-see" were going pretty good. With out going in tofull details no penetration but we've "messed around."

One night we're laying in his bed ...messing around some and I put my finger between his cheeks (not the ones on his face mind you.) He flinches and pushes my hand away saying "stop that you haven't earned that yet." Ok fine, I'm a gentleman and can respect boundaries, and if he not ready for that then I won't force it.

So we continue fooling around and I'm stroking him and he says, "It's taking me so long to bust, how about you give me some booty?"

I simply responded, "Naw I don't think so. You ain't earned that yet either."

(Schehimazade, I do have a facial filter because I don't think he had any clue how pissed that made me.)

Go-see questioned it but didn't push the issue either. we finished and I went home.

So am I crazy? I mean I amquite offended by that. I mean his booty is so precious that I can't even touch it, but he feels that I should let him climb all up in me just because its what he wants? What am I, some cheap whore?

I haven't said anything yet. I'm trying to calm down about it and looking to find out if I'm over reacting?

Sincerely
Pharaoh

Another Step Up

Self,

This past weekend I went to a conference in Las Vegas for my other career in the financial services industry.

I am proud to announce that before the conclusion of the event I was received another acknowlegement of the fact that the leaders in my office recognize my commitment, growth, and work.

I recived a "Rising Star" award! Which is just that...they see that I am an emerging leader in the office!

My colleagues who attended with me and myself are all excited and we looking forward to helping families to drastically improve their financial situations!

Don't call me a Hater!

Self,

Before I go to deep there is something I must say, and in doing so - I hope nobody gets the wrong idea.

Michael Jackson's passing was a very sad event. I am truly sorry for his family's loss. I along with the rest of the world will surely miss the opportunity to hear any new music that he would make, yet we all can take comfort in the fantastic body of work he left behind.

That said, I don't get all the emotional waterworks from people who are NOT blood relatives; are NOT close immediate friends; have NOT had ANY personal contact with the man. I mean will there be a similar massive outpour of grief when former President George W. Bush dies? (Granted, he wasn't that well liked, so not the best example.) What about either Bill or Hillary Clinton? Britney Spears? Queen Elizabeth II of England? The governor of any of the 50 states? Julia Roberts, Kobe Bryant, Brad Pitt, Michael Jordan, Angelina Jolie, Magic Johnson, Jim Carey, Chris Rock? Are any of these people going to show up at their fans funeral? Would Michael have responded the same way if he heard of the death of one of his fans.

If you were a person who was so emotionally distraught and devestated, please explain to me what you personally loss by his death? I have a friend who was notorious for bad mouthing guys that were "hardcore" Janet Jackson fanatics (ie the type that fell over themselve wishing they could be like her) and he would say "She don't care nothing about those faggots beyond the paycheck they represent" or something very close. (And yes he would say the same about Beyonce fans too.) Aside from the same last names and Janet isn't dead, what's the difference? I mean really it goes for any celebrity.......and those that nearly worship them.

Now, if you happen to be the type of person who reads the obituary section in the newspaper and cry for a good hour or two for all the names that appeared in that issue then this doesn't apply to you. Otherwise ask yourself does his death holds as much significance in your life as say that of your parents, a sybling, any other family member, your oldest, closest and dearest friend, your first dog/pet? (Just watched "Marley & Me.") Would you feel the same amount of loss if I announced the death of one of my family members, Schehimazade, Prince Esquire, The Gayte-Keeper, Darktomahawk etc etc?

Although I've only seen one or two clips from the memorial service I feel it was some what out of line and basically an event just short of a three ring circus. I don't see why the Jackson family and other of MJ's friends had to display their grief for the benefit of the public. I think a better idea of a memorial service would have been if the family had simply announced that they request all of his fans to chant "we love you, Michael" at a specific time, either individually or in small groups at private residences. I heard that some of the artist that performed did a good job but to me, it wasn't that it was honoring Michael but more like saying "look what I can do."

Okay, my "dukes" are up so, I'm ready for the lashing that some of you may want to give me.

Sincerely,
Pharaoh

P.S. For the record No, I'm not just saying this because I'm upset that the City of LA found $1.5 million to pay for the police presence and traffic control despite the Mayor and City Council screaming about such a budget crisis that they're suggesting lay-offs and implementing a 10% salary reduction for myself and other employees. I'm saying it because we have no right to interfere or dictate that familys greiving process.

So much to say...so little time!

Self,

Well I realized that I have been away for a while and I'm feel a little guilty about that. So much is going on.
Since my last entry:

I've taken and not passed my exam for 1 of the Federal Licenses I'm working to obtain. Although disappointing, it was more or less expected....basically I took it as practice.

I hosted (along with Prince Esquire, who was in town for a few days) a poker/game night. The "theme" was "Ocean's Eleven" which meant everyone was suppose to show up as they say "Dressed to the Nines" but not so far as tuxedos. I guess not everyone got that memo...or just decided to ignore it. Even Prince Esquire was a little off the mark showing in jeans and a polo but his saving accessory was a sports coat which did upstage some others, not me of course. (I'll look to see if I have any pictures.) That said the majority of the ladies that were in attendance brought it! Heels, flowing skirts/dresses. Just looking LOVELY. Despite wardrobe discrepancies, I believe it is safe to say that everyone had a good time and I was happy to see all who were present.

The next thing that needs to be mentioned is my date and "Gosee." The date was ok. we went to see the new Transformers movie (which I really enjoyed,) however there were no sparks. Seems like a nice guy but we didn't really seem to connect, however going to a movie didn't give us a lot of time to talk. The "gosee" is just that - someone who you just GO SEE, who they are etc. The beauty of go-sees is that they can be as short or long as you want. I was on my way home from the afore mentioned date and told this guy I've chatted with that I would give him a call when I was done. SO I did we first met at a gas station but it was busy so we then went to a Denny's and had coffee. I'm not going to give too many details but he's cool I enjoy his company. He had me accompany him and his friends out to some activites over the 4th of July weekend.

The last thing I'm going to say before I get off here is in my absence I have gain 1 more follower which has caused me to hit my Next milestone....I have 30 followers!!! YIPPY! Follower #30 is Wonder Man...just like to thank him for declaring himself a loyal subject of Pharaoh's realm.

Also in my absence I've learned that some folks have been talking about me behind my back! LOL but they been saying good things, I'm not upset. I've discovered that Gayte-keeper and Ian Darktomahawk have discussed the possibility of me becoming a contributing writer on M.A.L.E. Blog. So I'm excited about that and am waiting for the official invitation.

Sincerely,
Pharaoh

Hormone Check

Self,

I must be going insane from being horny.

Today, a strange notion crossed my mind. While at work, just before 7am one of my two supervisors comes to talk to one of the other guys in my section. As I'm listening to our supervisor, It occurred to me that having a threesome with both my supervisors......could be enjoyably interesting.

Don't be me wrong they are not FINE men (which is part of the craziness) but they are rather distinguished looking gentlemen....with some sex appeal that's registering on my radar.

1 is Brazilian....nuff said right! But really... medium brown complexion, 5'11 to 6ft tall. Wirefame glasses. Medium build. Has that great accent depesite living here in the states for over 30 years. And probably WAS FINE AS HELL when he was in his 20's and 30's.

The other, this is the one that actually sparked this idea. He is Filipino also about 5'9 - 5'10. A touch of grey in his hair. Round full face. And can fill a pair of jeans quite nicely. The cakes...seem so round and scrumptious!

It looks like they both have a nice "package" too!

Sincerely,
Pharaoh
PS I know I need help...volunteers??? =) lol
