In Honor of Thanksgiving

I recently recieved (via email) the most amazingly inspirational sentence.

What had happen was...
Occassionally, when I finish one of these "note to self," I send an email to family and friends basically letting them know about it. (Otherwise I kind of leave it up to folks to visit the "notebook" if and when they feel like it.) Well because I was SOO emotionally touched after seeing the Youtube video "Mothers ...Love your sons" I sent an email out to folks letting them know about my "note" called "A Heart Full of Love" which also contained the video for their viewing.

Well, I was told by BrainHoney* that she posted it on some of the websites she frequents. She then told me about how she was stunned by a big homophobe on one site because she expected him to crack a crude joke but he was actually speechless and touched by the video. (lol all this is great don't get me wrong, but ironically not quite the point..)

When I read this treasured line, Lord have mercy, I nearly wanted to cry. Tears of joy mind you. It made me feel so good. (I read it repeatedly, I might add.) As I said at the beginning, this line is inspirational and appreciative at its core. So I know that some folks may perceive it as simply some form of validation. I disagree, I think it is a marvelous espression of friendship, admiration and LOVE. I'm Pharaoh - the divine made flesh, why would I need approval from anyone. (I'm not being concieted.) I mean I do me for me, as I would assume that is the case for everyone. That said, BrainHoney's statement inspires me to continue to hold close the values and beliefs I have, and that as long as they direct me to do what I feel is right....then it's all good!
